SanDisk
SanDisk is coming out with a new type of medium for music... A micro SD memory card with an album loaded on it. This sounds pretty bazaar, and quite frankly I don't think it would work very well. They are advertising this as being DRM-free allowing people to put this music anywhere. Suppliers could then carry a lot of albums in a very small space. The music could go in phones, computers, music players, etc. I think that if someone were to buy an album, why buy it on something so small you could easily loose it rather than a CD or online.

the Dream
So, cell phones are becoming more and more like the iPhone, and T-Mobile is about to reveal its newest phone, the Dream... an open source phone created by Google. It has been pushed for many months already, and the time is coming when google and tmobile will unleash the new wave of cell phone. So, once again, Google is trying to take over another sector of media not only through web browser but now by phone. Android is considered the open source operating system that will run on many more phones beside the Dream... Android can run on any phone manufacturer's system as an option to compete with Apple.

Chrome.
Well it's here, the anticipated Google browser I talked about last time. Companies and people are excited, scared, and don't know where this development will take the internet. Google's claim is that most web browsers have simply added on to what the original web browsers fifteen years ago looked like, and this program started from scratch. It has the search functions, new tab functions, speed and capability of upholding many types of features undiscovered. It also has one thing covered... as google always do... advertising. This browser sneaks even more advertising in but makes it continually more and more precise about what you search for. Some companies are actually upset with the Google ad's now because if someone searches for, say, Toyota, Ford can "buy" that key term and have an ad on the side bar. CHROME, will definitely impact the world.

Google's Internet Browser
GOOGLE... the huge internet power is attempting to grow even larger, with the launch of a new open source web browser. It will be called Chrome, and they actually talked about this browser in a blog, which is funny because I'm writing about it in a blog as well. It will start off as a Windows version only and will eventually be created for Macs. I think it is genius of Google because they have great name recognition and this will only help them receive more. I know I am excited to see how well it works and special features that it may offer that the latest and greatest Firefox does not have.
